Why Callisto exists
Callisto exists because running a growing business often becomes more complicated than it needs to be.
Growth brings opportunity, but it also brings complexity. Callisto helps owners step back, see what is really going on, and make changes that ease pressure rather than add to it.
About me
I’m Sophia Spencer, and I work closely with owners and senior leaders in growing businesses.
Much of my career has been spent alongside founders as their businesses have become more complex. The work has often been called support, but in practice it has involved something more substantial: understanding what matters and why pressure keeps returning to the owner. Callisto is built from that experience.
I stay close enough to understand the detail, but detached enough to see the pattern. My role is to bring practical judgement and useful structure without making the business heavier than it needs to be.
Working together
I work directly with clients on Strategic Advisory engagements, and alongside a small associate team on Growth & Delivery work.
Strategic Advisory is for owners who need to understand how the business is operating in practice and what needs to change. Growth & Delivery is for businesses that already know what needs doing and want useful work carried through properly.
The common thread is judgement. Work is scoped carefully, with technology used where it helps. The aim is to reduce dependency rather than create it.
I am selective about the work I take on and aim to build relationships that are straightforward and constructive.
